Prendeville Records Fifth-Fastest Time
Tuesday at IMS Test

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind., May 5
- Everything came up in fives for Andrew
Prendeville on Cinco de Mayo.

He posted the fifth-fastest time in five hours of Firestone Indy Lights
testing on the fifth day of the fifth month of the year Tuesday at the
Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Team Moore Racing unloaded a race car that was prepared for the task and
Prendeville immediately got to work. The Henderson, Nev.-based driver
recorded the fifth-fastest lap of the day on the ninth of 72 laps he took around
the 2.5-mile oval in the bright yellow Xtreme Coil Drilling No. 2. His fastest
lap was timed in 47.1923 seconds for an average speed of 190.709 miles per
hour. That was only 0.1403 of a second slower than the fastest lap of the
day recorded by any of the 21 drivers testing, which was the 47.0520 (191.278
mph) lap posted by Sebastian Saavedra.

"The Team Moore Racing car was very good," Prendeville said after the test.
"It was a good day for us. We got 72 laps in, and we had a trouble-free
day. We have a good car for the race."

That race is the Firestone Freedom 100 at IMS on Friday, May 22.

The team will be back at IMS on Community Day, Wednesday, May 20, where the
Firestone Indy Lights drivers will greet their fans at an autograph session
at 11 a.m. on Legends Row.

Two 45-minute practice sessions at 9 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. will be held on
Thursday, May 21 before qualifying is held at 3 p.m. that day.

The pre-race festivities are slated for 12:15 p.m. on Friday, May 22
followed by the 40-lap/100-mile race at 12:30 p.m. Since it's the most important
race of the year on the Firestone Indy Lights schedule, VERSUS plans to
broadcast it live.

All times are Eastern.
